UPF Group Expands African Logistics Network with New Offices

The UPF Group Africa expansion is now accelerating across key regions. The company has opened new offices in Douala, Cameroon, and Mombasa, Kenya. These locations sit at vital coastal gateways. They help move project cargo reliably inland.

As a result, UPF can offer stronger “corridor mapping” services. EPC firms and freight forwarders now get verified route intelligence. This covers road quality, border delays, and infrastructure limits. Such details are essential for heavy-lift transport. Unlike desk-based planners, UPF uses on-the-ground teams to test every route.

In Central Africa, the Douala office boosts links between industrial zones and global markets. Meanwhile, UPF Kenya in Mombasa deepens its East African presence. Together, these hubs cut response times. They also help navigate local rules that often delay complex shipments.

Looking ahead, UPF has another major move planned. Starting in early 2026, it will partner with Afrilink Ocean. The two will market a direct coastal breakbulk liner service. This route will connect Dar es Salaam and Mombasa to South Africa. It targets southbound project cargo. The service aims to add much-needed capacity on this busy trade lane.

At the heart of this growth is UPF’s decentralised model. According to CEO Thomas Vestergaard, “Our expansion has remained people-led and deliberate.” Each office operates independently. Yet all receive support from a central hub in South Africa. This setup blends local agility with global standards.

Consequently, teams can make fast decisions while meeting international contract requirements. Ultimately, the UPF Group Africa expansion isn’t just about new addresses. It’s about placing trusted logistics expertise where large projects need it most.
